Hawaii has recently collected a new mural by artist Kamea Hadar. The piece is inspired by the word Hapa, meaning “part” or “partial”. The mural is a symbol of the multiple cultures residing in Hawaii and a focus on racial equality. As seen above, the painting features a portrait Barack Obama, with his speech from Philadelphia painted in the back.
